Now, if you have decided to try Frontierville, the chances are, you've played Farmville. Farmville is simple to play, thus, anyone, can play. Cool.
Nah!
So. Not. Cool.
If you've played Farmville, there may be some confusion as to what, where, and why.
Firstly, why another Farmville? We already have one?
Frontierville is SO NOT Farmville. It may seem the same, but it is, most definitely, not the same.
What is it them, you ask? It is indeed similar, however, rules are different, object of the game is different, it is a whole different ball game. Indeed!
And where? where's my endless supply of energy? And who needs energy anyway? You do.
However, energy will never come so don't bother. As will be further explained in later posts, what you need is FOOD.
So, read on, and become the expert that you can be!

Varmints
Varmints are nasty little (and not so little!) creatures. Extremely annoying, they will appear when you chop down trees, harvest crops, and feed animals. Once you spend precious energy to clobber them, the nasty buggers will appear again, before too long.
How to deal with them, you ask? Simple! Leave them be.
Once the varmint appears, you cannot tend to the area that appears reddish. Thus, you are prevented from harvesting crops, feeding animals, and chopping down trees. However, using the *move* tool, you can move stuff around, OUT of the reddish area, and voila!!! Once you move it, you can tend to it.
Further, once a varmint appears, another varmint of the same type cannot appear *UNTIL* you clobber the first one! Nice, eh? So leave the varmint where it is, move your stuff around, and there you have it - no more trouble!!!
